Hi There!

Thanks for stopping at CSI: Roleplay!!! Here are just some quick rules to keep from confusion, and me having to nag later!

1) Respect Each Other - that includes No Flaming, No Racial/Prejudice Comments, No Bashing and No Harrassing Members ie No Constant PMs unless agreed by both parties (e.g. private conversation), No Attacking Views or Opinions etc.

2) No Spamming - I do not want to see anyone Double Posting or Spamming, as it is irratating. The only exception to this rule is if the thread has been dead for 48 Hours, then it may be Bumped Once.

3) In the interest of safety, Please Be Careful With Who You Give Your Personal Details Too. Obviously, if you're comfortable giving out your life history, you may, but I would advise to do so in PMs or E-mails. That way we can keep a, reasonable, check on safety.

4) Please, Do Not Register Twice. It becomes frustrating for me to have to go through and delete lots of memberships, so please, only register once!

5) Limit net speak - It's incrediable difficult to read 'lol, ne1 c dat ep of CSI last nite? Was well wkd!!!!' for anyone, let alone someone who isn't confident with English. Obviously, I don't want anyone to be too scared to stick the occasional 'lol' or 'rofl' in or whatever (I'd be in serious trouble if that were the case - lol ;)) but make sure posts are readable.

6) Please be courteous of members who may not have seen the latest episode of CSI. Make sure you make it clear what episode you are talking about. Wouldn't want someone spoiled now, would we? Alternatively, use the 'Spoiler' button, and write your news inside the tags.

7) Finally, Have Fun!!! That goes without saying really! So please, follow these rules, and we will have a great time!

Please read all 3 rule sections, just so we're covered:

Thanks,
Your friendly admin, Jemma.

These are really just to be kinder to dial-up users, or members who internet connections throw wobblies as soon as more than a corner of a picture is shown.

1) 2 wallpapers, then link

2) 4 banners, then link (unless banners are teeny tiny (like affliate banners))

3) 10 icons, then link.

1) Character wise, you may have 3 Canon Characters, and 3 Original Characters.

2) No God-Modding - This means that, if you wish, the characters can have fights, and be injured, but no fatal injuries. If I were to play Grissom, I couldn't kill Catherine, and vice versa. This also means you can't make a decision for another character. E.g. Again, if I were Grissom, I couldn't post: 'Grissom was late, and the perp shot and killed Catherine.' Or: 'Grissom couldn't be bothered with his paperwork, so made Catherine do it, which took her out of action for weeks.' This wouldn't be fair to Catherine, or the person playing her, would it?

3) Limit net speak - It's incrediable difficult to read 'lol, ne1 c dat ep of CSI last nite? Was well wkd!!!!' for anyone, let alone someone who isn't confident with English. Obviously, I don't want anyone to be too scared to stick the occasional 'lol' or 'rofl' in or whatever (I'd be in serious trouble if that were the case - lol ;)) but make sure posts are readable.

4) (Not Strict - Guideline) Paragraph preferred (I count paragraph as 3-4 lines - so sue me if it's wrong! :P). But, I'm not saying you have to do 3-4 lines every posts. If the reply only needs a sentence, feel free to post a sentence. Really, it's whatever you feel like posting, as long as someone can easily reply to what you've written. Plus, 3rd person posting is easier to understand.

Also, not a rule, just a clarification - under your username and stars will be the list of characters that you play. You do not need to worry about this I'll put in and take out what's needed. Red names are Canon Characters and Orange names are Original Characters.
