BuddyTV Fall 2008 Preview: CSI: Miami
For exclusive on-set videos and hot features on the new TV season, check out BuddyTV's Fall 2008 Preview.
Network: CBS
Premiere: Monday, September 22, 10pm
Cast: David Caruso, Emily Procter, Adam Rodriguez, Jonathan Togo, Rex Linn, Eva LaRue, Boti Ann Bliss, Megalyn Echikunwoke
Previously on CSI: Miami: Horatio Caine was shot by an unseen assassin and left for dead on an airport tarmac.
Who shot Horatio Caine? That's been the question on the mind of every CSI: Miami fan all summer long. That, and what ever would we do without star David Caruso's trademark mugging if he actually did get offed? We'd be lost souls.
The seventh season of CSI: Miami will open with Eric (Adam Rodriguez), Tripp (Rex Linn), Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), and the rest of the gang doing all they can to discover the identity of Horario's would be assassin, while also dealing with the continued attacks on the Miami streets using fused alloy bullets.
Of course, the resolution to last season's cliffhanger isn't all that's in store. Expect more baffling cases for the CSI: Miami crew, including a gas-stealing man set ablaze, a girl killed in her mother's psychiatric office, and even a case involving apparent cannibalism. Season 7 will also introduce some new characters to the crime-solving team, including new coroner Dr. Tara Price (Megalyn Echikunwoke), who will be replacing the void left by former series regular Khandi Alexander.
Despite the cliffhanger, I have a hunch that we haven't seen the last of David Caruso's trademark sunglasses and supposedly witty puns. Tune in to see if he survives when the series returns September 22 on CBS.
