It's been nearly eighteen years since Jennifer Shepard died. The one thing that no one told NCIS was that she lived, now it's 2026. The next generation of NCIS agents, although none of Gibbs' team wanted their children to be involved with NCIS; some of them decided to apply. Leon Vance was still the Director until seven months ago, Jenny turned up out of the blue. Gibbs' team still works at NCIS, handling issues with their children and more.
But now Vance is Assistant Director, something he almost refused to do; though he knew it was indeed the right thing to allow her to be Director once more. Washington is in chaos, a terrorist threat, the first female president, and to top it all off, the children are starting to rebel against their parents.
